Emma Ceaser Weddings Devon – Perfectly Dressed Marquee for Wedding Video, Cornwall + Devon
We’ve worked was videographers alongside Emma at a number of weddings in Cornwall and Devon – they are all, without exception, utterly stunning. She has such an eye for detail, and it makes my job, and the photographer’s job, so much easier, knowing that when we walk into a marquee ready to start filming, it’s going to look perfect before I even switch the camera on!
In the case of Charlotte and Tom, the reception venue was at their parent’s home. You wouldn’t know that it was 40mph winds for most of the day! The day before had been 60+…and the marquee had been at risk of flying away like a giant balloon! Catching the drone footage was a little hairy, but absolutely worth it. Seeing all the work that had been done to the property, the sheer transformation – from the landscaping to the marquee emergency securing, was amazing.
Inside the Devon marquee, you’d have no idea that wedding signage was being blown over roughly every 1.5 minutes! It looked beautiful – the flowers (quite magically) stayed perfectly arranged in the centre of the long tables and cake was utterly gorgeous, framed as a welcome into the marquee for windswept Devon wedding guests.

It’s only recently that rules have relaxed in relation to legally accepted locations for wedding ceremonies. And even now, quite often wedding couples will prefer to tie the knot in a beautiful church, steeped in all the glamour and tradition it entails. On each occasion when we’ve been videographer at Emma’s Cornwall or Devon weddings, the transition and timings for these weddings has been absolutely seamless.

Usually, people getting married have never done it before – so it’s not always easy to know the best things to do in terms of organising the day. This is where Emma steps in. Best time to arrange your wedding ceremony. Best marquee location in relation to church. Best time to get into the dress. Best time to leave.
All of it.
And this is where it makes my job as wedding videographer so much easier – we do our best work when timings aren’t manically compressed, or when long stretches of time when guests may drift away and kill the mood. It makes you feel better on the day to know that the pace and rythm of the day is perfect, and having you relaxed makes video and photography much easier!
