Right the way through our wedding journey, from searching for a videographer all the way through to receiving our three fantastic videos following our wedding day, we could not be happier that we picked Babalu Films to capture our very special day.
Chris was friendly, informative and responsive in the planning and build-up to the day, giving us reassurance that we were in good hands. On our wedding day, it turned out that we were in the best hands with Chris. Not only was he knowledgeable, professional and very creative in the shots/clips that we are capturing on the day, but he was very flexible/supportive when the rain threatened to derail our outdoor ceremony! Chris knew that we wanted to get married outdoors so made sure that he was all set up to continue filming outside, even through the drizzle during our ceremony.
We had a lot of fun with Chris all day, being made to feel very comfortable and creative in the way that he was capturing our wedding day with us (alongside Mike from Pura Vida Cornwall as our incredible photographer on the day).
Now that our wedding day is over, we couldn’t be more satisfied with the three very special videos we have. Our feature length film (two hours, including full coverage of the ceremony and speeches), is pure magic, happinessand love in one incredibly shot and edited film, we love it so much! Our highlights reel is a fun, selection of best bits from the day, again perfectly shot and edited and our Teaser is a 1-2 min euphoric snippet of our amazing wedding day. I fully recommend getting all three videos!
We feel so lucky to have had Chris as our videographer to capture our day so perfectly, we really mean that. It’s a beautiful gift that we will treasure forever and show to our family and friends for years to come (who have also commented to say how well shot the videos are!).

Exclusive venues are always so special for a wedding, and it doesn’t get more exclusive than this stately home. Spacious, beautiful grounds, and grand spaces for wedding ceremonies indoors or outdoors. Photographing and filming here is a pleasure on every occasion.
It is one of our most favourite outdoor wedding ceremony areas in Devon. The walk up the drive and through the gardens is beautiful for guests, and gives a sense of grand occasion as the bride approaches. The open wedding space gives us room to move, helpful whether we are photography or videography. And there are rwo options for indoor ceremony, depending on the guest numbers and preferred aesthetic. Both are light and airy.
After the wedding ceremony, guests spilling out into the courtyard is perfect. Ample seating and natural shade from trees, but anyone seeking sunshine can walk 20 steps and enjoy the open grounds. (It’s also great to have so many options for group shots – we can work around group size and sun position very quickly!)
