Cornwall and Devon are perfect for marquee weddings – and they don’t come much more sun kissed and perfect than Alice and Tom’s ‘Ibiza vibes’ wedding video Cornwall at Porthilley Farm. Planned by Bree at TwoBeWed wedding planners, the festival atmosphere was firmly established by the time we arrived to the marquee to start filming at 9am!

St Endellion Church Wedding Film Cornwall – A Beautiful (and Hilarious) Start
Cornwall Church weddings normally don’t tend to include anything laugh out loud funny, Alice and Tom managed to (accidentally) let slip with a slightly naughty word. tom’s reaction was perfect! Aside from the challenge of having to stifle my own laughter, it reminded how important a wedding video can be – with a photographer at the back of the room, this cheeky little moment would have been forgotten.

Filming Couples Photos On An Empty Beach in Cornwall
While the guests headed back to the marquee (to set up a pretty epic confetti run), we popped to the beach for 15 minutes of couples shots for both stills and wedding video. Basically empty, overlooking the river and cloudless sky, it was so much fun. Trying to pose a couple when the bride is 7 months pregnant was a slightly tricker thing, but we laughed until our faces hurt!
BONUS – DOG. I LOVE DOGS. (If there is a dog at a wedding, I will film it. A Lot).

Sun Kissed Ibiza Style Wedding – Video By the Helford Rover, Cornwall
13 years. I’ve been a wedding videographer in Cornwall and Devon for 13 years. More than 250 weddings. And this was the most ‘Ibiza’ a wedding has ever felt!
Honestly, it was beautiful. The sun was shining – hot, but juuuuust shy of being too hot. The chill-out tent had a steady rotation of guests, but mostly from the oldest and youngest age groups. The confetti run was both ENORMOUS and utterly epic. The sax blasted out, roving amongst the guests like a rock star. Group photos on the cliffside overlooking the beach and river.
Honest side note – compared to 90% of other wedding videographers, I ‘overshoot’ most weddings. I will usually shoot 600-700 clips, compared to most wedding film makers capturing 200-400.
….I filmed more than 300 during the 2 hours of this drinks reception alone.

We love sunsets. And Cornwall’s north coast has best ones ever – the best light, the most perfect for you (and for your wedding video) . The footage is always magic – most relaxed you’ll be after an enormous day: all the excitement and emotion. Nipping out to grab a few shots in the beautiful light, to spend the time together and enjoy each other’s company before dancing the night away. Perfect.
