Marquee Wedding Photographer, Cornwall Devon
Rolling fields, cliffside hideaways and gorgeous country manor houses – Cornwall and Devon are perfect for marquee weddings! Photographing Charlotte and Tom’s big day was an absolute privilege, and showcased how special marquee weddings can be.
With a marquee in the grounds of Charlotte’s parents, the biggest problem was the 70mph winds that had started the day before the wedding!!! With some on site support, the marquee was secured, and made ready as late as possible on the morning of the ceremony – as we began our photography.
It was such a gorgeous location overlooking the sea, with beautiful fields and gardens literally right next to the marquee entrance. We got some shelter from the wind for group photos, then stole the bride and groom away for 15 minutes to grab some couples portraits – just in case the weather turned against us later!
The speeches were beautiful. We always love it when the bride does as speech as well – and Charlotte not disappoint! (Check it out in their wedding film)
Before the party kicked off, a quick stroll into the adjacent field. It looked like Charlotte and Tom were the only two people in the world.
